Guess what guess what guess what!!!!!
Oh, you don't feel like guessing?
Ok, I will just tell you!!!
Today, I have a wonderfully exciting day planned! First of all, happy Memorial Day. I hope the bands are surviving the march. It sure is difficult to march with a snare drum strapped to your chest. I know, I have gone through it myself. Still, I do love getting out there, standing up straight and professional-like, and performing, where people have crowded around to watch YOU play your music. It's a wonderful and slightly embarrassing feeling. It's too bad that I will not be going this year. I wish them a wonderful time.
In about 2 weeks, on June 10, the 8th grade is having a dance! On a cruise ship! That actually moves!!! Ok, it might be a little smaller than a cruise ship, but either way, it's on a boat, which is still a first for me. That's right. I have never been on a boat before. Once, I did ride a ferry to San Francisco when I was in California, but that's it.
So, of course, for the dance, I am going to need a dress (which I have) and shoes and maybe a sweater (which I don't yet have). My plan is to go with my friend Jessica to the mall where we will buy shoes. We have actually been planning this for some time, but plans always got in the way. Hopefully today works out perfectly!!
Once that is all over, I will be going BACK to the mall, to this store called Icing, and I will be getting my ears pierced.
Again.
Only this time, it will be right next to the piercing that is already there, if you have any idea what I mean. I always thought it was a pretty look and when Jessica got it, I just absolutely loved it. The moment I said "I want one," I felt this great burst of excitement. So exciting that I can't even wait until next weekend! I have to do it TODAY!!! It is such a wonderful feeling!
So yeah, that's what my plans are for today.
"The only thing that is permanent is impermanence." -- Buddha. Things change, but not without our changing first. We may feel we don't have control of what we want, but it's not the situation we need to control. It is our own vantage point of what is taking place that must change. Everything else comes after.

Happy Birthday Dear Vineeta!
I mean, tomorrow, not today. The birthday part, I mean. Although I do believe that it is my friend Mikenna's birthday today. However, May 29th happens to be the birthday of my math teacher (Hope it's great, Mrs. Nockles!), and my mother.
My dad seems to think that we should just ignore the birthday, since it would just bring up sad things. I agree that it would be sad to bring it up, but I am choosing a different approach to the whole day. I am going to be as damn happy as I possibly can! That means wearing whatever I feel good in, relaxing as long as I think necessay, and taking moments throughout the day to drink more water and think about ow wonderful my life really is. That may be hard for a lot of you to digest, but yeah, my life is pretty happy. I mean, I live in a great house with three wonderful cats and two great brothers. My dad just got a super cool new car with a SIRIUS radio and Bluetooth (I know, awesome). I have many wonderful friends that I enjoy spending time with, and the school year is opening, thus bringing the days of summer upon us. I will admit that there is only one thing about my life that I would change, which is my mother's death, but even with that situation, some good has come into my life.
For instance, I found these three wonderful books called the Sara Books by Jerry and Esther Hicks. The books have opened up my perspective of life and gave me a feeling of joy, even if it only lasted for a few weeks. I have been more individual. Before, I would depend on Mom for many things. If she ever told me that she didn't like anyting (which didn't happen very often), I wouldn't like that thing either. I know that is not a very good thing, but I liked that she was the one persont that knew what I liked and how I would react to different things. She understood me. She and Dad are very different. When Mom heard that my brother wasn't doing well in French class, she said that it was his decision, when Dad heard, he decided that he had to go and help him one-on-one with his French until he got better. I'm not saying that I ever prefered one over the other, I am just simply saying that they viewed life very differently. My views are much the same as Mom's. We believe that anything can be achieved if you just believe it can. And I do mean anything.
I created this blog to give people a chance to see how I really think. I'm not sure how well I can portray that, but at least I try. Also, it seemed like it would be a really fun thing to try. Now I have readers who I trust and feel I can talk to whenever. I would like to know that some people other than Sanatkeys (is there a space in that name?) views my blog, so PLEASE comment!!!!! Say anything at all! Even send me an email if you don't want anyone seeing what you have to say (my email is siamese96@hotmail.com) I am very willing to share my life with you guys. I just kinda want to know that at least someone reads this blog.
By the way, I apologize if I keep changing the subject, my mind can be kind of scattered.
Sanat, put down your pie and PUT IN A REPLY BUTTON!!!!!! (no, seriously).

My Late Night Dream
Have you ever heard that our dreams last only about 5 or 6 seconds and we have, maybe, sixteen dreams during the night? Well, last night, I remembered one of my dream segments. I remember that I at least started in my house, but then we went down to my grandparents in CT in like, 2 seconds. You know how dream time flies when it gets boring. So we went to my grandparents' house, and it seemed like we were preparing for some sort of celebration. There were tons of people from my school there. A lot of the dream was just walking around doing various things. Then who should walk by but my mom! She was wearing her regular bright blue shirt and khaki colored pants. She was clearer than anything else that I looked at. The first time, she walked by and I followed her. She would show up at random times. She never really said anything in particular to me, but just her presence was strong and full of... well... happiness. Pure, radiating joy. There was one point in the dream, when she wasn't there, I was just hanging out playing a game with my family when I felt a great release and just rose up in the air and started flying. I didn't go very far though. It has never been so easy to just lift up off the ground before (and I do mean in dreams). I did see her a few more times. 3 times overall.
What you don't know is that the before I fell asleep that night, I had Mom on my mind a lot. There are still times, when I do a lot of thinking in great depth, that the feelings just burst out before I can stop it. So yeah, that's what happened last night. I went into my mom's room and just sat on the bed, thinking. Then I went back to my room and went to sleep.
It's so great that I can be open with my fellow blog-readers, even if there aren't that many of you yet. Honestly, I love feedback. Don't be shy. Just comment. And yes, SanatKeys, I would like you to install a reply button now. That'd be great! Thanks!

This Darn World
Hello once again!!
This darn world is confusing! I mean, I asked my dad why, when someone asks "if a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it, does it make a sound?" and doesn't know the answer. I always thought that the tree did make a sound, since the person clearly stated that the tree fell. Man was I wrong. I never realized how complex this question really was. If you've ever heard of Shrodinger's cat, you can guess my distress. I just don't know what to really make sense of, with so many options. Could it be that we are all parts of this one big test? Or is it indeed our purpose in life to find all that can be enjoyed. I like that one. In my belief, we are simply here to feel the joy that is living. If anyone cares to question that, please, by all means, leave a comment. I will get my brother to install a reply button onto this website and we can talk it out.
Of course, no matter what people believe, they may always think they are right. And perhaps they are. I have no certain way of knowing. My science teacher recently said that "life is a game." it is a game that must be played correctly. Now, I really didn't understand that, did you? I suppose she was talking about getting a job and making money at the time, and failing to do so would mean "losing" the game. But would it? No! It doesn't matter how this metaphorical game is played, only that you are happy with the outcome.
I follow a philosophy that is led, I guess you could say, by Esther and Jerry Hicks. A.k.a., Abraham-Hicks. Sue, of course you know what I am talking about. I don't really feel like explaining myself, so I shan't. My point is, I am a person that chooses not to believe in God. If there are people that do believe in God with all their hearts, yet that may/may not be right. What if Abraham is wrong as well? And no, not the Lincoln one, the aforementioned one. Sue, if you've got an answer for me proving me wrong and that Abraham is truly right, I would love to hear it. Unless you really don't know what I'm talking about, in which case, never mind.
So the main lesson in today is this: don't worry about the "game." it doesn't exist. Also, death is most certainly NOT a punishment and most definitely NOT the end. I have my reasons for believing so.
Until next time, my fine, featherless friends!

7th Grade Story... I Guess... Sorta...
So perhaps it is time I really went back to the beginning. I mean, why I started a blog. First of all, my 7th grade English teacher has one, and I find it is a great way to keep up with everything that is going on. You could customize it so that only your most trusted friends could view it. If they don't ever care what you think, they just didn't have to log on. Simple. Plus, I could do the whole thing from my iPod. That's where it all began...
So I was on a bus trip to go play a tennis match against Algonquin, but there had been a chance to have rain. When I got to the tennis courts, it started to drizzle a bit. Then it became so windy that we couldn't hit the ball. We all ran into the clubhouse to keep dry. I was skipping jazz band to be out there, and the whole thing just rained out. There is more to the story, but I don't really feel like telling it. Long story short, it was rained out. By the time we got back, jazz band was long over. My schedule has really gotten hectic. I haven't been to jazz in about three weeks! I feel bad about that, since I really love it. I don't even completely feel like I'm part of it anymore, although I know I am.
I had a quick revelation on the bus today: I feel more comfortable this year than last year. 7th grade was awesome, I had so many wonderful teachers! However, I must say that I was quite uncomfortable with myself. I would feel self conscience if I ever wore anything a little different or said something normally out of place. I still don't completely understand why. What I do understand, however, is that I needed to go through everything that happened in 7th grade. I created that year to give me wonderful experiences and give me confidence to upcoming years! So thanks, seventh grade! For just being you!!
I must be getting lazy. It's taken me a week to finish this post. I shall work on that.

Mother's Day...yippee
Why is it that when I think of my mom, I feel sad? I mean, I know the obvious answer that you are probably thinking, but she was a great person. She was kind, positive, and well revered in the family. And Mother's Day is coming up. My dad is certain that it's going to be really sad. I don't think it has to be that way. After all, we never really die.
That's right, you heard me right. There is no death. There is only what we perceive as death, where we extract our being out of the current body that we are in. When we wish, we can put ourselves into another, new and fresher body.
- but, Abheda, if there is no death, Why do we feel sad about their passing?
- uh, I dunno. I guess it's a natural reaction when someone we have known for a while is suddenly hard to contact and see.
Ok, that didn't sound right. I'm drawing blanks here, so I think I should end this here.
So I shall leave you for now, readers.
In the words of Taylor, don't EVER skip on pie!

So how are you doing?
Hi!
-how have you been?
-I am splendid! How about you?
-oh, you know, same stuff going on.
-come now, there must be SOMETHING different going on in your life right now! Think!
-hmmmm... Oh! As a matter of fact, you're right!
See? That's what people should answer, but it's always "nmu" (not much, you?) for some reason, it kinda annoys me. Especially when I am talking to someone that I haven't seen or had a conversation with in quite a long time. Me, I can always think of something to say. Ok, I can also lie. There have been times that I could not come up with anything to say. At least in my texts, I say "nm" then add another sentence to keep the conversation going. Thats why I much prefer getting phone calls. You don't often just leave the other person hanging. At least you really shouldn't. I would feel so peevish if my 7th grade English teacher, who lives far away in a land called York, London, were to call me again, only to tell me that in the past year, not a single interesting thing has happened! I may just hang up on him right there! (just kidding, Mr. Reynolds, I would never hang up on you, especially since that was just an example and I know that you would never actually say "not much." oh, by the way, what's going on in York? We can discuss over email if you prefer. Or you could just comment. I do love comments *hint hint*).
That goes for all of you. Comment, dammit! Or not, y'know, its really up to you. You can do whatever ya think feels best.
I think all these random outbursts have gone on long enough, so ta ta for now! What the hell does "ta ta" even mean? It's weird...
Bye-bye!!
